AT&T plans to hire 100
new employees in Central Florida
September 2011 -- AT&T
is hiring more than 100 new technicians across
Central Florida and more than 400 throughout the state of Florida
for AT&T U-verse.
AT&T U-verse services include AT&T
U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T
U-verse Voice. AT&T premises technicians are responsible for
service installation and customer care, working both inside
customer homes and outside on AT&T’s advanced network.
AT&T will train new technicians, but
applicants must have strong communication skills, a valid drivers
license and a non-negligent driving record, weigh less than 275
pounds, be able to lift and move 80 pounds and work a flexible
schedule that includes evenings and weekends and pass a background
check and drug screening.
Job candidates will also be asked to take
the technical/mechanical Test-Field II and the Premises Technician
