Disney Cruise Line receives
several awards, including "best new ship"

CELEBRATION, FL. -- Disney Cruise Line has received several awards this week
from Cruise Critic, Porthole Cruise Magazine,
and the Themed Entertainment Association.
Cruise Critic, the
influential cruise news website, honored Disney Dream as "Best
New Ship." It also honored the Disney Dream for "Best Inside
Cabins" and the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet for "Best
Standard Cabins." The honors were among the website's 2011
Editors' Picks Awards recognizing the top cruise lines, ships
and ports.
Porthole Cruise Magazine
bestowed three awards on Disney Cruise Line in its 13th
Annual Readers' Choice Awards - "Most Family-Oriented
Line," "Best Children's Programs" and "Best Entertainment."
Also, beginning May 2012, Disney Cruise
Line will set sail from three new ports including New York, making
a Disney cruise vacation accessible to even more guests throughout
the country. The Disney Magic will sail a
total of eight eight-night voyages from New York to the Bahamas,
including a day at Disney's private island paradise,
Castaway Cay and a stop at Port Canaveral, giving guests an
opportunity to visit the nearby Walt Disney World Resort.
